Billionaire, Richard Branson, chairman of Virgin Music, is bringing the Virgin Festival to Toronto's Island Park on Sept. 9-10.
The Toronto event, which Branson hopes will attract 50,000 fans, will feature more than 40 acts, includng the Smashing Pumpkins, Amy Winehouse, The Killers, lots more.
Virgin Unite works on a range of programs across the globe with a special focus on youth-related issues and HIV.
The U.S. edition of the festival will be held August 4th and 5th at the Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, home of the Preakness Stakes. The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Police will anchor the lineup.
